I am a full time camper. I have lived at Iron Horse Campground for several months now and absolutly love it. The neighbors are friendly, there is great fishing, and the camp hosts try to do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would recomend this campground to anyone looking to get away for a while.
If you enjoy cold water showers and stopped up toilets then this is a great place. The owners could care less about your stay there, other than getting the money. This could be a decent place. There was about 50 Boy Scouts and another 50 or so of a church group and the owners were no where to be found. By 11:00 am toilets overflowing. Know this many kids were there you would think someone would be checking to make sure everything was functioning properly, but you would be mistaking. Get a new owner that give a sh...

People living in campground go for days at time with out water or power.
UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP: I am excited to see where this place takes Damascus! If you search ALVARADO BIKE STATION you will see what these wonder people did to restore and put it back on the map.
Owner does not pay the bill. He should be charged with fraud. He takes monthly rent money from campers but never pays the utility bills. $500 a month is suppose to include water and power.
