I love this home place. It's beautiful. Especially the ginko tree.
Nobody was there to meet us when we arrived. The owner showed up the next morning and never cooked a hot meal and asked if we wanted cereal. The closets and cabinets still have clothes in them and clearly haven't been cleaned. Once drinks ran out nobody replaced them. Only limited amount of towels. Seems the thermostat for the second floor is in the honeymoon suite that controls the entire second floor. Seemed to be somewhat clean and it was a place to stay for the night after being on the Appalachian Trail but won't be going back.
Really nice size place for events. A wedding was perfect. Plenty of room for everything from getting gas ready to guests etc. Wifi was available and plenty of parking. AT&T and similar carriers have no service at all at this time but Verizon Wireless seemed to. Overall satisfied with our stay and the event. Would highly recommend.
The worse B & B of our trip. Glass missing from the balcony door so we heard everything!!! Noisy lot next to the main road so we heard the cars all night long. The owners never introduced themselves to us and the breakfast was horrible. Such a disappointment. We drove an extra hour to stay there based on the pictures and reviews, but it was not worth it.
quant little place. Has like 4 rooms avail. Stayed in the Balcony bedchamber. Don't know if a problem with the HVAC or if someone hijacked the thermostat but during the night the room got so hot it was unbearable. Fortunately I was able to open our bedroom window to cool the room off (outside was like 50 degrees). Two stars since it was quant, won't be staying their again.
